Cancer and cancer treatments affect the lives of sufferers but also the lives of those around them. The Psycho-Oncology Center offers activities and consultations for these people from when the cancer diagnosis is made and through every stage of the treatment pathway to help them cope with the negative impacts of the disease and the treatments. It also offers bereavement support.

Training

The Centre has many years of experience in the training of care providers and in team supervision. It offers numerous opportunities to acquire and update knowledge in the field of psycho-oncology. The trainers have in-depth expertise in patient-care provider communication training.

The Centre works with the Psychosomatic and Psycho-Oncology Research Unit. Its research work relates to the study of psychological factors associated with prevention, identification and treatment and with palliative care.
